Usually, the typical props used in thriller films are:- Knives
- Weapons
- Blood
- Makeup
- Masks
Sometimes there are stranger props you wouldn’t think about or take any notice to in thriller/ scary films, such as:- Tents (camping out... something bad is going to happen)
- Cars
- Mobile phone
In our film, we aren’t going to use many props at all as we don’t really need to and they aren’t that important to our opening sequence. All we are going to have in our scene is our character (Amelia) in a dress with fake blood on her hand and dark scary makeup on. The makeup we use and the fake blood are really our only props as the rest is just the setting.
